Hanover Displays says it is planning to bring a range of new displays to this year's Bus & Coach Expo

Hanover Displays has constantly impressed with its passenger information systems for the public transport industry since its inception in 1985. Now it’s taking it a step further at the upcoming Bus & Coach Expo with its latest high-resolution sign.

"We’ve got a really new high-tech, high-resolution sign coming out we’ll show at the Expo," Hanover Displays Australian director Fiona Watson told ABC.

The full colour high-resolution sign will make its debut at the Expo, with the last model Hanover showed at an Expo being a white high-resolution sign. The Australian subsidiary of the UK company also planned to show its 29-inch TFT screen at last year’s Expo. It’s carried the product across to show visitors in Sydney this October.

"It was disappointing we couldn’t show the 29-inch model at the last show, but we’re excited to be able to show it now too," Watson says. "That model is full on and so impressive.

Even the director of Hanover Displays Australia is amazed by the new model that is about to hit Australian shores. Watson says the sign is so clever that it can show Twitter feeds, live updates and run videos on it, catering to whatever purposes a bus operator may require of it.

While at the Expo, Watson doesn’t just want to dazzle visitors with Hanover’s latest models. The director says she also is excited to educate customers on Hanover Display’s next-stop passenger information technology. Importantly, she wants visitors to know that Hanover can offer much more than just a sign.

"We want to show people how next-stop passenger products work," Watson says. "We will educate them more on how it all works and what they can do for customers.

"We’re not just a sign company – Hanover Displays can also do more involved products for buses."
